if you had read my chamber of secrets review, it would be no surprise to reveal that horror is one of my favourite genres.

the total cost for making this movie was less than a Large McAloo Tikki burger. but it still looks better than half of the bullshit being churned out in hollywood and bollywood.

i love how cinematic this movie looks. you would've expected the movie to look like a long youtube video due to the $750K budget, and a 26 year olf youtuber at helm. But as the saying goes, stereotypes are made to be broken (i made that up).

the film looks impeccably crafted, from the performances of the cast, to the soundtrack of the movie. every little aspect honed in to serve the film. with a tight runtime of around 1 hour 50 minutes, the films sprints to the finish line with such a magnificent pace that would have made you think that you time travelled to the end of the movie.

the premise of the film is simple but intriguing. an object that grants the requester a wish. a perfect premise to have a franchise of interesting and wild movies, i must say. the plot, although a bit predictable as such type of indie A24-coded horror movies go, is still thrilling enough to sit through a couple of times in the theatre.

also i forgot that i had to finish this review, it has been 3 months since i last edited this post. time indeed flies. ill just say this, the soundtrack was definitely the highlight which set the tone, and the acting of the lead actress Inde, should be studied in film schools. really liked it.
